As a company, we’ve spent the best part of the last 3 years working for some leading wealth management firms, helping with their digital transformation and designing products, services and marketing that have driven growth for their businesses.
The fintech design challenges have been a tremendous learning experience and through working closely with our clients, notably Tilney and Bestinvest, we have developed design methodologies that are not only fit for financial services but can work across any sector and digital product project.

In the last 12 months we have tested our people first approach based on sound user research, both qualitative and quantitative, along with our systematic and, when required, creative problem solving and applied it to healthcare, SaaS and marketplace products and services to great effect and with a lot of successful outcomes (and happy clients!).
This represents a pivot for us as a design consultancy: from financial services specialist, to cross-sector product design studio – designing products and services, as well as compelling marketing, that delight users and fulfill key business goals for our clients.
We will continue our relationship with financial services and look forward to using our proven expertise with more clients in the sector.

Now though, we are also working with a broader range of exciting clients such as EmailOctopus, an email marketing platform for whom we have redesigned their product, addressing key user and business objectives.

Another new client Core is a local charity focussing on health and wellness; more specifically, Osteopathy. This has been a particularly rewarding challenge, enabling us to contribute to a community focussed organisation that has in turn inspired us to develop our own related product due for launch later this year. We are also thrilled to be working with MeasureMatch, a specialist marketplace that matches systems and data consultants with businesses that require their services. We’ve been working on optimising their marketing as well as their sign-up and onboarding flows which should help their clients to find the right people for their projects faster.
Sign-up and onboarding has become something of a specialism within a specialism for us – we have worked with all our clients on optimising these critical user journeys and have developed a methodology that has yielded great success in improving conversions and customer retention.
